I am planning a trip to Dublin and then from Dublin will fly to Prague. I would like to fit in some skiing. A friend had recommended Selva Gardenia in Italy but I thought it may be easier and cheaper to fly to Austria? Can you recommend a good place to ski in Austria? We are Int/Advanced Skiiers and we are looking for reasonable and affordable accommodations and def. good apres/nightlife.

The area near to Salzburg is probably well suited for travel from Dublin and then onward to Prague.
Look to this website to describe Obertauern - not far from Salzburg -
www.obertauern.at
cheap flights available from Dublin to Salzburg - then about a 1 hour transfer to this nice resort.
Higher altitude insures good snow conditions - great ski circus for all levels of ability-
good selection of hotels in all price categories and a good apre ski and night life
Much easier to reach than Gardena

Hello! I am traveling from Dublin to Prague and from Prague I am trying to decide between traveling to Berlin or Vienna.
Would you recommend one city over another?

I prefer Vienna to Berlin!
As you prefer good nightlife in a skiing resort:
- Ischgl

- Kitzbuehel
a posh place in the Austrian mountains (the Aspen of Austria), very cute town with excellent nightlife; the only negative is, that it is located on lower elevation, so that snow is not guaranteed:

- St. Anton/ Arlberg:

Thank you! I am trying to figure out the most efficient and more affordable travel options. I looked at flights from Dublin to Salzburg and they seem to be more expensive than if I were to fly from Dublin to Prague or Dublin to Vienna.
So from Prague would it be best to travel to Vienna by train stay a few days and then to Obertraeun for a few days and fly home from Salzburg to NY?
Or is it best to fly into Vienna from Dublin and then train to Salzburg to Obertraeun and from there what%26#39;s the best way to get to Prague?

This is the better plan:
