Rental of ski equipment

I looked at the www.stuhleck.at website and can%26#39;t find any information about whether you can rent equipment at the ski resort or whether you have to rent it in Vienna before you go.

Does anyone know about rentals? If both places rent, are rentals easier or better priced in Vienna or at the resort?

The local skiing-school also rents equippment:

Its german only, and it doesn´t say much about the rental, but it has an a-mail adress you can write to !

I would not consider renting in Vienna and taking it out there, very uncomfortable to have to transport all the stuff, and it would cost you extra time to go and get the stuff in Vienna and return it the next day !

Just be careful - skiing directly on the Semmering, this is Hirschenkogel skiing area!

The Hirschenkogel - Zauberberg may be much more convenient .

the Sport Puschi rental location is near to lifts if I remember correctly.

The Stuhleck is beyond Semmering itself.- Harder to access-

if you look on the stuhleck website under the heading -Ski Region Semmering

then on abfahrten - you will find the subject ski verleih or verleih

verleih is the german word for rental- there you will find availability of ski rentals - german only I believe..

If you decide to do this , it is much better to rent ski equipment at the resort.

Itis not very convenient to rent in Vienna and then drag all eqipment from rental shop to the train - then to the ski slope .

Much easier to rent and walk to the lift

The trouble to carry this equipment to Semmering and return is not worth the few euro savings you may find.

It will be dark by 4:30 in the afternoon too.
