We%26#39;re thinking of going skiing in Bad Kleinkircheim this winter. Has anybody skied there before? I%26#39;m interested in any feedback at all on the skiing. Our group is mixed ability and it seems the resort will be perfect for the beginners and intermediates. What about the advanced skiers? Is there enough there to keep us happy for a full week? Also any accommodation recommendations would be welcome.

It is not a very big skiing resort with too many lifts and slopes, but a nice village to stay in. There is also a thermal spa.
It also depends what you are looking for!
Are you families with children or adults only who want to enjoy apres-ski and nightlife as well?

A very nice area not too far from Bad Kleinkirchheim is Nassfeld:

Hotel recommendation:
Hotel Falkensteiner (directly at the lifts)

Hi Ulrike
Thanks for your post. We%26#39;re a group of young adults, interested in good skiing over and above a wild nightlife - would have no interest in St. Anton for example! We%26#39;d be happy with a few nice restaurants and a laid back bar. Do you think BKK will be too quiet even for this?
Would the skiing in BKK compare to some of the small resorts around Innsbruck in size? e.g Axamer Lizum or Nord Park?
Many thanks

Yes, it ight be too quiet for you.
Which airport will you be flying to?
What about....

The MONTAFON Valley In Vorarlberg anyone ? Been there, great skiing, various resorts within the valley, all accessible with the same ski-pass and ski-bus. Silvretta-Nova is just tops. Look at my Photos. which I have taken last winter.
|||
Another one is the ZILLERTAL Valley. I have been going there for 25 years running. Plenty of small resorts within. Mayrhofen is at the end of the valley, Zell in the middle, Fuegen/Hochfuegen more at the beginning. Again all the resorts can be used with the Super-Ski- Pass and all connected by ski-bus. Up the mountain from the end of the valley is Hintertux and the Glacier (long way). You can ski in a different place every day ! We always stay in the small village of Ried a. Ziller.

Obertauern looks great, thanks for the suggestion. Has anyone stayed in the Aparthotel Hubertus or heard any reviews?
