Which resort

There are 2 of us travelling to austria 23rd March 08 - 28th March 08. Can anyone tell me which is are the best resorts for nightlife and skiing. Also which resorts are reasonable priced to go out.

We are flying to munich and departing from Salzburg so a resort somewhere close to both (3hrs max) would be ideal. I heard Soll and St Anton are ideal but can someone confirm this

Kitzbuehel should be closer than St Anton

As you will be travelling in March there will be the problem with the lack of snow in those skiing resorts located on a lower elevation. Although Kitzbuehel is awesome in any respect, there is the high possibility that there is no snow in March.

St. Anton is the better choice concerning snow as it is located in the high mountains, but is is wuite far from Salzburg.

The closest skiing resort matching your criteria and with good chance of having snow is Obertauern:

Like Zell am See, Sölden, ...

Another option, but also nearly as far away as St. Anton, but on a higher elevation is Ischgl:
