Has anyone been to Scheffau

Can any one recommedn this resort. We are a group of 3 looking for good skiing. We all are intermediate skiers and who ejoy the skiing more than the night life.

Or can you recommedn any other austrian resorts.

I have never been there -always stayed in Kitzbuehel (my favorite skiing resort in Austria) - have alook at these sites and get some imptressions:

SCHEFFAU is probably the best place to join the skiwelt and the village is quiet, being a little way off the main road that runs through the valley. The pistes (which are mainly intermediate)at the top of the main scheffau lifts also hold the snow better than anywhere in the skiwelt - when conditions are less than perfect - and have several wonderful huts full of character for you to enjoy a short recharge of the batteries. Anyway this is a truly wonderful area - enjoy - we will be back this year for sure !

Hi I%26#39;ve been to Scheffau many times and I love skiing in this area. I generally stay in Ellmau - which is the next village over, mainly because it is more ski in ski out than Scheffau. The major lift for Scheffau is located on the other side of the main road so there%26#39;s no opportunity to ski in ski out.

I take a group of people every year from Australia to Ellmau so if you need more info let me know.
