how to get from vienna to salzburg by train

Hi, we%26#39;ll arrive to Vienna but our last destination is Bad Hofgastein.

can u help us and say how can we get there? may be give us some links....

and the main problem...it%26#39;ll be night (((

You can go there by train in about 4 hours with one change of train via either Salzburg or Villach.

But the last convenient connection leaves in Vienna at 6:20pm.

If you arrive later I would stay in Vienna overnight and take a train in the morning.

Why don´t you fly to Salzburg? Much shorter transfer to Bad Hofgastein!
