living in salzburg

i have been living in salzburg for 3 months now, and i am interested in finding some leisure time activities to make my stay more exciting.

i have been trying to find information on %26#39;things to do%26#39; here, but i have only found touristy activities. if anyone has any suggestions, or knows of any websites that will be helpful in my search it would be much appreciated.

Could you give us more of an idea of the kind of thing you like to do? I have friends who live in Salzburg and they do a lot of horseriding, swimming, paragliding, etc.

i am actually pretty open at this point, as i%26#39;d just like to find something fun to look forward to each week. however, i am slightly limited financially, so something towards the cheap end of the spectrum would be good. i%26#39;m already involved in hockey and i%26#39;ve always done lots of typical sports, so i%26#39;m looking for something a little more out of the ordinary. winter has also officially arrived, so that may cut down the list of options a bit.
