Hi
I need your opinion for the hotel Levante Laudon in Vienna. I am staying in a superior city appartment but the veriews are so controversial that I am very confused.
Thanks
Peter

If you have doubts, look for another hotel in Vienna.
I assume you refer to the very mixed reviews found on Trip Advisor.
If just a very few negative reviews exist , I would just say no hotel can ever please everyone . But here , numerous and varied negatives.
I visited the place shortly after it opened just to have a look after initial reviews. Of course, I did not stay there -just looked around like a tourist. I was not that impressed. Front desk was not staffed during the time i visited . Actually saw no staff and only one guest at all during my look, in the morning , perhaps 11 .
It appears that the hotel has several different types of accomodations- some much renovated and good style other old and un renovated.
The photos on their website , I believe , only show the newly renovated ones..
I was told that service varies greatly .
The location is not bad , not too far from the Rathaus.
But other hotels can be found in better locations and cheaper prices.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I booked the trip very recently and I found it impossible to find a hotel. Unfortunately there was nothing else available. I was there last Christmas, I stayed at KK Maria Theresia and I loved it. I ended in the Laudon because it is very close to the Rathaus Christmas market which I found wonderful.
I am still on a waiting list for some more hotels, even the Graf Stadion which I saw has better reviews.
Thanks again
Peter
