THis was the first part of our trip. Stayed at hotel De France-fantastic -(I%26#39;ll post a report there when I get a chance)-excellent-highly recommend. Schoenbrunn Palace is fantastic-gardens too are beautiful. Loved the outdoor cafes and the sausage stands-
Had a heuring dinner one evening in Grinzing- very rustic and festive
visited the Fine art museum on the ring and spend afternoons in the parks which were lovely.
Went to Hofburg Palace and Sisi museaum which we did enjoy
found clothing very expensive in both Vienna and Salzburg (as well as Switzerland which was the 2nd part of our trip)
Took the Danube cruise from Krems
Salzburg was a little more touristy but we did enjoy walking around the old town.
Mirabell Gdns were pretty even thought this was the only day it rainned
Stayed in Best Western Steiglbru- would not recommend - good point is -close to old town and clean and free internet
Very stark in decorations and breakfast was just OK (I%26#39;ll post report soon)
We had a great vacation

That was the middle part of ours. We loved Vienna and Salzburg. Stayed in Belleveu (Vienna), awful experience and in Austria Trend Hotel Europa (Salzburg) excellent view.
We enjoyed the food and cafes (Sacher).
