Can Fritz or somebody else suggest me the most economical way to travel from Amsterdam to Vienna or Salzburg (will leave Amsterdam on 11 dec ).I plan to be in Austria from 12 to 18th dec only sightseeing purpose.Preferably will be based in salzburg or if somebody can suggest better place .

Have you thought about flying? SkyEurope flies 2 direct flights (takes 2 hours) on Dec 11 for 22.99 euros a piece, can%26#39;t imagine you%26#39;d get a train that cheap plus it%26#39;d take hours and hours longer!
