Which Hilton hotel

Hi

I%26#39;m going on a tour with Insight (Prague, Vienna, Budapest)and want to book a couple of extra nights in Vienna.

The tour brouchure says the hotel in Vienna is the Hilton but does anybody know which one it might be, according to expedia there are 3 Hiltons in Vienna

Hilton Danube Vienna

Hitlon Vienna

Hilton Vienna Plaza

Also does anybody know of a hotel very close to the airport.

You may struggle to get a reply to this unless someone has stayed in Vienna with Insight and knows which hotel they used. Even then it’s possible that they use more than one Hilton. Why not contact Insight and ask them directly or ring the individual Hilton Hotels to see if they can advise you. Their numbers are:

A friend who travels to Vienna a lot on business uses the NH Hotel at the aiport regularly and it gets decent reviews in TripAdvisor

%26quot;The Vienna Hilton%26quot; is located in the center of Vienna but with an excellent public transport connection to the airport as it is right next to %26quot;Landstrasse - Wien Mitte%26quot; station from where there is direct trains 24/7, many of them non-stop.

Call the tour company to receive your correct answer.

You will probably find that they use the Hilton Danube. It is the least expensive of the three Hiltons.

Perhaps nice views of the river , but a poor location to stay if you are an independent traveler.

The hotel is far from the city center and requires a streetcar ride and / or transfer to the UBahn to reach most everything. They have a small shuttle bus that will take guests to the Hilton Plaza but it runs at infrequnent intervals.
