is it possible please to travel from salzburg to lake bled by public transport in August, if so how and cost please.

The Lesce-Bled railway station (4 km) lies on the Villach - Jesenice - Ljubljana - Belgrade - Istanbul - Athens railway line. It is approximately 45 km from the national borders with Austria (Wurzenpass - Korensko sedlo) and Italy (Fusine Laghi - Rateče).
There are direct train connections between Salzburg and Bled which will take you about 3:34 to 4:00 hours.

It%26#39;s really an easy journey from Salzburg to Lesce-Bled station. As it%26#39;s an international journey, one can%26#39;t see the fares online... but you can call and ask!
