Italian restaurant in Vienna

I am looking for a great Italian restaurant in Vienna for a business dinner with my colleagues. Do you have any suggestions? thx!

Fabios at Tuchlauben 6, 1010 Wien is famous and receives great reviews for excellent classic Italian food and great wines.

The interior is modern-stylish and so is the crowd - quite trendy.

It%26#39; centrally located and you%26#39;ll need a reservation.

Oh, do I have a great one for you --- right in the center of Wien. Normally, I shy away from restaurants in the very center of Vienna, because they are touristy, over-priced, etc. However, my good friends in Vienna took me here a couple years ago. They are true %26quot;Feinschmecker%26quot; and know what is good and what tries to be good.

The restaurant is Al Caminetto. Address is: Krugerstrass 4, 1010-Wien. It is right off the Kärtnerstraße near the Opera.

You won%26#39;t be disappointed with this restaurant. Just tell Mario (the owner), that Robert from Florida --- the friend of Wolfgang %26amp; Uschi ---- recommended his restaurant to you. He and his staff will take good care of you.

And for a true dining adventure, let Mario plan your meal. Just tell him %26quot;meat or fish%26quot;, and he%26#39;ll take care of the rest. Sit back, drink some good wine, and enjoy!

I have never heard of La scala and have never been there...

Fabios is very nice - excellent food and very trendy!

La Scala is at Elisabethstrasse 13 - one street west of the Ringstrasse - not far from the State Opera- decorations better than the food in my opinion.

Martinelli is a good place , central-conveniently located in Palais Harrach on Freyung.

Parking garage nearby.

Martinelli%26#39;s is great. Not only good food and service, but you cannot beat the atmosphere of the Palais Harrach.

We visited Vienna in the summer of 2006 and still remember Martinelli%26#39;s.

Maybe you want to try %26quot;Fabios%26quot; for lunch then or its bar afterwoods - it is a really awesome, stylish and trendy restaurant and one of the most favorite options for business lunches/dinners in town, in my opinion, the best!
