I wanted to share this post with everyone- the Culturall team sent me these very step by step and detailed instructions on how to buy tickets online :

On the left side please click the menu item %26quot;Tickets jetzt buchen%26quot; (book tickets).
Please fill in the form - choose your search criteria respectivly insert the favoured performance and/or date.
Spielstätte = location
Vorstellung = performance
Gattung = category
Datum von/bis = date from/to
Kartenpreis von/bis Euros pro Karte = price per ticket from/to Euros
By clicking the button %26quot;Suchen%26quot; (search) you start your request.
The menu bar on the top enables you to choose a performance according to the date.
Please select the performance by clicking %26quot;Vorverkauf%26quot; (presale) - the java applet starts now and you can choose your seats directly into the seating plan (if you want to disable your choice, click on it again)
-%26gt; if this link is not available, presale has not started yet or the performance is sold out.
On the top of the right side - to start payment - click %26quot;Weiter zur Bezahlung%26quot;.
Now a summary appears, where you please check your bookings. You can start payment now by clicking
%26quot;Weiter zur Bezahlung%26quot; or choose more tickets (%26quot;Karten für weitere Veranstaltungen kaufen%26quot;).
To cancel just one ticket out of your choice please click %26quot;Karte stornieren%26quot; and if you want to cancel your
entire choice click %26quot;Alles verwerfen%26quot;.
Already registred customers can insert their username and password (Benutzername/Passwort) and click
%26quot;Login für bestehende Kunden%26quot;. As a new customer now you have to register yourself: click %26quot;Zahlung für Neukunden%26quot;
(payment for new customers). Please fill in all your data - mandatory fields are marked with *.
After filling in your data completely click on %26quot;Bezahlung%26quot; - you will be forwarded to a summary of your data.
Please check and afterwards go on with %26quot;Bezahlung%26quot;. On the next page you receive details of your bookings.
Please write down your Transaktionscode an fill in your credit card data.
Zahlungsart = payment method
Kartennummer = card number
gültig bis = valid until (Monat = month, Jahr = year)
Name des Kartenbesitzers = Name of card owner
%26quot;Prüfcode%26quot; - code from the back of your card (click on CVV2 to get more details).
Please mark the checkbox %26quot;Ich akzeptiere...%26quot;, which means that you accept the general terms and conditions.
To commit your payment-data click %26quot;Kreditkarten Zahlung durchführen%26quot;. Your receipt is shown now and you can
print it (please scroll to the bottom of the site).

I just bought 2 tickets online for La Boheme in October with no problems at all (except for the fact the site was down for 2 hrs!)

Yes, Thanks a lot.
Now, why wasn%26#39;t your post here just a few hours ago, when I struggled to book my tickets today also for La Boheme in Oct. But it really helps to show me that I did the right things to get my tickets---I don%26#39;t speak a word of German.
I used an on-line, instant translator that did a pretty good job to tell me what was going on.
Can I ask??
1) I assume the transaction went through OK, as I got an e-mail from culturall with a reservation/confirmation number saying something to this effect?? (PLus, the 2 seats I booked are no longer available when I checked the seating plan again.)
A first e-mail came saying my transaction is being processed, followed by another saying the credit card transaction has been done.
I don%26#39;t remember seeing any kind of receipt page, which I thought was strange, plus I didn%26#39;t write down the transaction number, assuming it would show up someplace later---which it didn%26#39;t--but I assume this is not a problem?.
2) I assume the tickets are on hold at the box office?
Is there a deadline by which day and time I have to pick them up?
I arrive into Vienna on the afternoon of the performance at night.
