HELP! H Artis or H Donauwalzer

Hi,

i have found similar price offers on two very nice hotels:

- ARTIS 4*

- DONAUWALZER 3*

Artis is very modern and feels pretty luxurious. On the other hand, Donauwalzer is more in the Vienner spirit i think, with rooms old style furnished but i understood there is a noisy area and the hotel is not always very clean. But i think it%26#39;s got also a wellness area.

PLEASE HELP ME! I want to make a nice surprise to my girlfriend on our aniversary.

DON`T GO TO DONAUWALZER !!!

The place is standing right on Viennas busiest road, the Gürtel, you have a four-lane boulevard going through right below your window, despite that the area there is really dodgy, with strip-bars, brothels and other similar places around it, and as far as I know, the hotel still makes most of its money by renting rooms by the hour, and the police comes in nearly every night. When I still worked as a paramedic, we were called their regulary too .... They sometimes seem to get really cheap Eastern European coach groupes in, but I think thats their only %26quot;normal%26quot; hotel-business !

I just looked at the Artis´s website to answer a question above, and it looks fairly nice, quite modern though, but fine, just be aware that it has a bigger road outside as well, Rennweg, but its by far a better location then Donauwalzer, and the road should quite down over night as well !

Look at these reviews....they are quite bad for this hotel:

The location is also not convenient, far from the city center!

Maybe just let us know your budget and we could recommend another hotel which is nice and in a good location!

The Artis is definately no 4* Hotel (consider more 3).

It´s on Rennweg so you have the tram 71 and a lot of traffic in front.

Try to find another one. Or you tell us what your budget is and we can help you with suggestions

Hotel Eurostars Vienna 4*

both around 180 Euro (Internet rate for 3 nights).
