Spa and Ski

Where is the best family orientated area and lodgings that could combine spa facilities with skiing? Around December/January this year? I would really appreciate some advice!

Bad Gastein is perfect for what you want. Fantastic skiing in the Salzburg alps and 2 completely renovated spa centres reopened this year, as well as the private spas in the hotels. They have great facilities for kids - water slides, lazy rivers etc. check out www.gastein.com

I will second that having stayed inBad Hofgastein the last three seasons, bear in mind that European spa%26#39;s involve nudity

yes, but usually only in the Sauna areas -- the regular baths are typically bathing suits.

But, don%26#39;t miss the Saunas - many spas have a %26quot;Saunalandschaft%26quot; - many, different areas from very hot and dry to steam to ice chambers. great fun!
