Wien in Nov before Christmas Market

Hi,

I%26#39;ll have one weekend in Vienna in November and would like to know what shall I do overthere. Anything that I shouldn%26#39;t miss? and what can I do if it%26#39;s raining and cloudy, except sitting in the bar or restaurant?

It%26#39;s very sad that I%26#39;ve to leave there before the Christmas Market begins :-(

There are so many possibilities to do - if the weather is fine, explore the beautiful historic city center, go to the %26quot;Naschmarkt%26quot; (a famous food market with many small restaurants), visit the Catsle of Schoenbrunn.....

...if it is raining visit the Castles of Schoenbrunn and Belvedere, the Hofburg, one of the many museums, galleries, exhibitions, do some shopping, ..

The above info is good. One hint concerning Naschmarkt: be sure to visit it on Saturday when the flea market Flohmarkt) takes place.

When does the Christmas Market start?

Many better things to see and do in Vienna than a visit to the Naschmarkt- for food Ok- the Saturday market is mostly junk or poorly made clothes.- includes some stolen articles from time to time too.

no longer the way it was some years ago.

The first Christmas market opens November 17 At the Rathaus- others follow quickly.
