mountain trips

hi im taking my mum to the xmas markets between 7th and 10th dec and was wondering what trip would be best for us to see the mountains whilst we are there. we are staying at the hotel bristol and would want a pick up close by if poss.

I agree with Ulrike%26#39;s choices - lovely scenery to be seen. Another shorter trip could be made to Berchtesgaden, just over the border in Bavaria. There are organised tours there. Your hotel would be able to advise you and possibly even book it for you.
