Can anyone suggest a place to spend New Years Eve? Many of the concerts are now sold out so we are just looking for a nice restauarant, close to the fireworks, bars?? Thanks!

Anywhere in the old city centre would be good. Da Pippo, on Alter Markt serves nice, reasonably priced, Italian food and is on the first floor so maybe some good views of the fireworks from there. I don%26#39;t know if the stylish restaurant at the Museum of Modern art (called %26quot;M32%26quot;)will be open that night but that has uninterrupted views of the city. You could email them:
