What to do in Innsbruck in Jan (no skiing)

Hi

My husband and I are going to Innsbruck for 2 nights in January. Any recommendations on where to go/what to see? Would love to go up on a cable car and see fab mountain views etc-will this be available then? Also, how %26quot;cold%26quot; is it likely to be - trying to think of what clothing we need!

It will be cold to very cold - so bring pullovers and warm jackets or coats and boots.

I visit Austria every winter and also don%26#39;t ski. I take lots of walks enjoying the snow and nature. And then ... Après-ski. It%26#39;s fabulous!

I too, might be staying 2 nights in Innsbruck as well with my husband, but in last 2 days of Nov. I%26#39;m thinking of exploring the city in one day, then the second day visit the nearby nice ski places or villages. I understand it%26#39;s not ski season yet? Will we be able to do anything related like snow sports or something? Where exactly shld we go? We will probably have a rental car.
