Netrebko, Villazon and Domingo at Schönbrunn. June 27,2008

For those who love good music and will be in Vienna !

The above three stars will perform at a special concert in front of Schönbrunn Palace on June 27, 2008.

I have seen them perform together previously and they priovided a great evening of music.

For those who may not know Netrebko and Villazon- International opera stars -they have performed at the Vienna State Opera and many other venues together to rave reviews for some years.

It seems like they are becoming the international soccer-singers - they sang the night before the World-Cup finals in Berlin at the Waldbühne there (brilliant performance by the way, I have watched the DVD a dozen times by now, nothing beats Anna Netrebko and Villazon when they are at their best ...), and now they will be in Vienna before the finals here, looking forward to that, but I am a bit afraid of the possiblke cancellations, they have gotten themselves a bad reputation for this during this summers festival season ... But thoses three superstars in a concert and with the beautifull palace and its gardens as a summer-location, whoo, send the shivers down my back already ...

P.S.: But with € 278 for the cheapest ticket ... not cheap, will have to think about it again ...
